Last weekend before parenthood

Mom and dad went to see Dr Bill this morning. This was the last regular check up before my birth. Everything went ok. My estimated weight now is 7lb 1oz. The head is a bit big with diameter at 9.55 cm. After that, we went to Sheung Wan with grandpa to have fish-bone congee.

This weekend has been a busy one for mom and dad. Birthday of Auntie Winnie and Uncle Jakie are coming in a couple of days. We went to meet Auntie Winnie at One Bar around 2:30pm. Mom was nice enough to organize a 100-Day-Old party for me. The plan is to have a tea party at One Bar, and introduce me to the gang. Sound like fun, although I won’t get to eat the adult food yet. We then went to Four Season for high-tea. My first time there, and quite an enjoyable experience. Mom had lots of treats, and decaff coffee. Although it was a bit rush (we had to return the table by 4:05pm), we enjoyed it immensely. A bit of window shopping afterwards, of cause, at Lane Crawford. Dad went upstairs to the roof to take photos, and the rain storm came in. He got some interesting shots, but he got a bit wet. Time to go home and feed Mignon and Bo. On her way home, mom picked up some more supply for me. I am fully stock now…

Then 6:30pm, we went to Tin Ha Tai Ping to have dinner with Jakie. This is mom’s favourite, and probably mine too. It was nice and quite, and food was good. Nine O’clock. Time to walk home.

It’s official…2 more weeks ???

Only 2 more weeks to go. Mom had been feeling quite a bit of back arch lately, especially at night. May be it’s me trying to stretch out. Quite often, she needs to lay down after meals, so her stomach can relax a bit. Hang in there, Mom, I will be out soon…

Dad went jogging this evening. Although it rained a bit, the cloud broke, and the full moon shrine onto Happy Valley with full force. Quite a view. After all these rain lately, Hong Kong night sky has not been this clear for a long time.

Mom and Dad had dinner with Auntie Vivian, Auntie Yvonne, Uncle Cousin, and Uncle Wallace yesterday, just before Grand Ma and Grand Pa arrived from Vancouver. My name is pretty much fixed. Chinese version is ; English is Ching Fung, or Yeeching Fung. Quite like it.

35 weeks…

Wow, only 3 more weeks to go. It’s raining again, but Mom and Dad went out for a walk after dinner anyway. This is going to be the last weekend before Grandpa and Grandma come for visit. They found me a diary, to record my eat time, nap time, and poo time. Do I ever going to see it?

Mignon Cat, my big brother, has the pimple problem coming back. Hope he will make a full recovery very soon. At least weekend is coming up, so Dad can take care of him.

I am now 5 lb…

Mom and Dad went to see Dr. Uncle Bill last Sat. He estimated I now weighted over 5 lb. No wonder mom now feels my weight quite a bit. Sorry Mom. Three more weeks to go…

Hong Kong had a lot of rain on the day we went to see Dr. Bill. There was so much water on the street that Mom would not let Dad go to Sheung Wan to have his weekly congee at Sang Kee.

Mom tidied up all my clothings, and organized them inside a cabinet. All my stuffs should be ready now. Grandpa and Grandma are coming next week. Mom and Dad are going out for dinner this Sat. This is going to be their last weekend alone. Hehehe…
